RCEP implementation involves various levels of society, especially in rural areas. It is a program that focus on strengthening the institutional of JKKK / JKKKP, recognition of high performance village, the creation of a regular exercise program according to the level of achievement and performance in a systematic monitoring mechanism in the actuator, the county and the state.
Various programs have been implemented in 2017 accordance with the policies and strategies of human capital development in rural areas. Among the programs implemented are as follows:
ANUGERAH DESA PERDANA 2017 COMPETITION
In 2017, the Village Community Division with the cooperation of the agencies under the Ministry Of Rural Development and other Government Agencies has successfully organized a prestigious village competition – Anugerah Desa Perdana (ADP). The implementation of this competition is in line with the government’s aspiration to develop the rural areas and to produce a high-performance villages.
The competition consists of three main categories – Traditional Village, Orang Asli Village and Longhouse (Sarawak). The competition starts from the District / Zone / Divisions level where the winner of each District / Zone / Divisions will compete at the state level and the winner of the state level will represent their respective states competing at the national level.
The highlights of the event was the ADP Prize Awarding Ceremony in 2017 together with the JKKK / P / OA Assembly at the Tuan Razak Hall 1, Putra World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur on 22nd August 2017 where it was officiated by the Prime Minister.
