Rural Electricity Supply Programme includes a grid connection method, alternative methods such as hybrid solar and hydro micro and installation of street lights in the village to ensure the readiness of sufficiency in electricity supply, guarantee and reliability to the people especially in rural areas.

In 2015, this programme has received an allocation of RM 888,359,100.00 for implementation of this project and spent RM 797,879,081.46 (89.81%).
